What are cosmetics?


Cosmetics are 'a preparation applied to the body, especially the face, to improve its appearance'. 
cosmetics date back as far as the ancient egyptians they were the first women to wear makeup  it has since then grown into a billion dollar industry. cosmetics are designed to 'beautify' the appearance by application. Many of the products we use day to day classify as cosmetics even if we do not see them as cosmetics, these include toothpaste, mouthwash, shampoo, other products which we would usually see as being cosmetics include makeup, moisturisers and nail varnish. High end VS.
